Mercy Ships E-mail

Since 1978, this unique Christian ministry has brought hope and healing to 43 countries. Three large ships have been converted into floating hospitals and mission outreach centers. They have treated over 220,000 patients with a wide variety of medical needs—including difficult surgeries. Other areas of major emphasis include teaching improved medical care, drilling wells and improving water quality, constructing medical facilities, and agricultural projects. Mercy Ship volunteers representing over 50 countries (in both medical and non-medical fields) serve from two weeks to several years. From college age through retirees, this could be an excellent opportunity for service.
