MMI is the world's largest ecumenical Christian organization providing international short-term opportunities for health care professonals. Every year, around 1500 North American participants share their faith while on over 65 missions to more than 20 developing countries. "MMI is committed to meet the need for medical care among the world's poor with lasting solutions through excellence in medicine, patient care, and education." Medical supplies, equipment, and eyeglasses are received in their warehouses in Pennsylvania, Texas, and Ontario for distribution to locations where MMI serves.
