This interdenominational Christian group focuses on medical care in 30 countries. Although they don't facilitate mission trips in the usual sense, their "Partnership Ministry Teams" link American medical and business professionals with overseas nationals where they serve. This could be an excellent way to assist if you can't personally go overseas.
