Since 1987, CCIH has been promoting international health and wholeness from a Christian perspective. They have over 200 member organizations. One of their main goals is networking between disparate cultures and helping people in overseas settings learn to improve their situations.
Their website has many very useful links and includes information on jobs in international health. You can also benefit greatly by attending their next annual conference: June 8-10, 2012 at Marymount University in Arlington, VA (near Washington, DC). The theme will be "Health-Lifestyles-Christian Values."
