Health Care for the World E-mail
It's estimated that only one-fourth of the world's people have access to basic health care. This chapter primarily seeks to help people interested in overseas medical ministries find information about how and where they can serve. Although much of this material is geared to medical professionals, there is a lot that lay people can do to assist. For example, a person with foreign language skills might be an interpreter. Sometimes medical and non-medical teams go places together, and the non-medical folks can also use their luggage allotments for vital supplies.
What suggestions can you offer for improving this material in the next edition of this directory?
