This large Christian organization is in over 100 countries. It seeks to work with "children, families, and their communities worldwide" by "tackling the causes of poverty and injustice." Child sponsorship, emergency aid, and microenterprise development are among their major areas of emphasis.

In 2005, World Vision and Zondervan published the Faith in Action Study Bible. Using the Revised Standard Version format, this has many stories and charts that correlate biblical passages with past and current mission challenges. It is very excellent reading.
