Seeking to improve livestock production in the developing world (and impoverished areas of the U.S.), they organize about 50 short-term mission trips each year.  Most participants are veterinarians, veterinary students, and vet techs.  CVM also provides inexpensive  educational materials to help small farmers in developing countries raise healthier animals.  Some of it is in Spanish, French, and Russian.
