This was conceived at the (former U.S. President) Clinton global Initiative in 2005 and founded by cardiologist Bruce Charash, M.D. It seeks to increase the networking at medical conventions, teaching hospitals, and elsewhere towards a systematic collecting of appropriate medical supplies, getting them sorted, and sent to developing countries.
