Founded in 1987, this is one of the largest organizations providing donated medical equipment and supplies for the developing world. Four large facilities in Denver, Houston, Nashville, Phoenix, and nine smaller satellite facilities, receive goods for distribution in over 125 countries. Besides bulk shipments valued at over $400,000 each, they also provide “C.U.R.E. Kits” that containing over $1,500 worth of medical goods (with a $150 handling fee) and are packaged in boxes that can be checked as luggage for overseas mission flights. PROJECT C.U.R.E. also has short-term clinical mission programs in locations around the world. |
