This private, non-political, non-sectarian organization began in 1984 and currently is helping through health care training and relief and development programs in over 20 African and Asian countries.  IMC seeks volunteer professionals in several fields of health care, and others with logistical, administrative, and financial experience.  Some volunteers need to be available within 72 hours for emergency situations.  Due to funding and accomodations limitations, IMC cannot accept all volunteers.
