PQMD is "dedicated to raising standards of medical donations to meet the needs of under served populations and disaster victims around the world." Although it does not supply medical goods, it provides contact information to over 30 major pharmaceutical firms and humanitarian agencies. PQMD's member organizations donated almost $4.2 billion worth of medical supplies to help in 150 countries in 2008.
