Active since 1948, DRI sent over 211 million dollars (wholesale) worth of medicines and other medical goods to 51 countries in 2005. They have a large warehouse, and they send many large container shipments overseas. Assistance with costs may be requested.
Through cooperation with Bristol-Myers Squibb, they also enable U.S. physicians to get a box of about 30 pounds of basic antibiotics and antifungal medicines for $25 to hand-carry abroad. |
