They provide portable dental equipment that CDS member dentists can rent for overseas mission trips (helping 74 trips in 2005). Their "Graduate School of Portable Dentistry" shows how to adapt to overseas situations, and they offer a 350-page book: Portable Missions Dentistry. CDS also publicizes many dental mission trip opportunities and helps provide scholarships to dental students wanting to go on them.
