AMRF has donated over 200 million dollars worth of medical equipment and supplies to hospitals and clinics in 90 developing nations since 1988. AMRF technicians refurbish the equipment and bring it up to necessary specifications before shipping it. They also provide biomedical engineering training services to help recipients, and when possible, they like to send someone overseas to help get the equipment set up and show how to use it.
